Bengaluru: Inspector Sanjeeve Gowda, who is under radar in abetting suicide attempt case of PSI Roopa Thambad, has been transferred to Vikas Soudha security squad with immediate effect. The order came out as soon as Roopa got discharged from the hospital.
Roopa had accused Sanjeeve Gowda of harassment and ill treatment thus leading her to take extreme step. Roopa over dosed herself with paracetamol tablets in an unsuccessful attempt of suicide on July 19 at Vijayanagar police station.

Besides, state government had transferred 51 inspectors working under different jurisdictions, government order said.
