Bengaluru: The presence of MLA Priyank Kharge in the assembly session made way for some heated debate, on Friday, September 25.

It may be recalled that Priyank Kharge had taken to twitter on September 20 and informed that he has been tested positive for Coronavirus on September 19.

However, his presence in the Assembly on Friday made many question his test report.

When Minister Madhuswawmy raked up the issue, Kharge said that he had been tested positive for COVID-19 on September 19. However, since he was asymptomatic, he went in for the second test within next 48 hours and this report was negative.

Confused by the report, he said, he underwent yet another test, which again was negative.Based on this report and with advice from the doctors, he decided to attend the session.

The Assembly Speaker, intervening by this time informed that he has asked for a report in this regard.
