Post stamps cover released with messages on voting

Bengaluru: Against the backdrop of upcoming Assembly election, the State Chief Electoral Officer’s office in association with Department of Post jointly released four postage stamps and a special post cover to highlight the importance of voting. CEO Sanjiv Kumar released the stamps and cover.

On the post cover, messages are printed in Kannada, English, and Hindi. Along with art and culture of the state, the objective of the elections in the democracy is also reflected in the post cover.

The special post stamps were brought under the tagline ‘Festival of Democracy- Karnataka Elections’. There are pictures of cultural dance, Yakshagana and Mysuru palace and other three stamps depict the intentions of this election using the colorful pictures. Karnataka Circle Chief Post Master General Dr. Charles was present among others.
