Bengaluru:  With the spike in the number of Covid-19 cases in the state, the response for the vaccine continues to be poor. Sources state that a target of only 51% has been achieved on Sunday April 18.

The state health department had fixed a target of vaccinating 5,00,050 persons until Saturday April 17. However, only 2,56,908 persons are vaccinated so far.

Uttara Kannada district recorded only 13% of the targeted vaccination, while Mysuru has achieved 122%.
