Police solve 11 theft cases, nab 2, recover Rs 21 lakh worth valuables

Bengaluru: The Rajarajeswari Nagar police have arrested two persons and recovered 240 gm gold jewellery, 28 gm silver jewellery, two cars and three two-wheelers worth of Rs 21 Lakh from them.

The police have identified the accused as Kiran (21) alias Gujjar from Kotebette village, Nagamangala Taluk, Mandya District and Praveen (20) alias Gulle from 4th Cross, TG Layout, Ittamadu, Bengaluru.

According to police, with the arrest of these two accused, 11 cases of house breaking, robbery and theft were solved. The accused were reportedly, involved in two cases in Talgatpura police station limits and four cases in Subramanyapura police station limits. Police added that the accused were wanted in theft and house breaking cases in Mico Layout, Hanumanthanagar, Channamanakere Achchukattu and Rajarajeswari Nagar police station limits.
