Bengaluru: The Upparpet police have arrested three persons, including a woman, for theft. The police have identified the accused as Manjunath alias Manja alias Panipuri Manja alias Kadabagere Manja (22), near Honaganahatti bus stop, Magadi Road, Gundappa (35), Gublala, Kanakapura Main Road, Thalagattapura and Savithri (35), Indalavadi village, Sarjapura hobli, Anekal taluk.

The police have recovered one kg and 30 gms of gold jewellery and ornaments worth Rs 30,90,000. With the arrest of the accused, the police have detected 15 theft cases reported in Upparpet police station (7), Basaveswaranagar police station (3), Kamakshipalya police station (2), Vijayanagar police station (1), Byatarayanapura police station (1) and Tavarakere police station (1).
