Bengaluru: In a raid conducted by the city police two gangs of robbers were busted and eight who were involved in several criminal cases were nabbed.

The arrested have been accused of pickpocketing passengers at the Majestic bus stand and house thefts.

Of the eight arrests, six have been identified by police as Venkatesh (39), Lakshmi (30), Manukaumar (29), Bhagyamma (50), Manja (24) and Amjad (30).

The police were able to recover valuables worth at least Rs 3 lakh in gold and Rs 37.65 in hard cash.
