Bengaluru: The police arrested a person for making obscene gestures at a woman who was standing in front of her house on Sadashivanagar 3rd Main, on January 5.
According to the police, the arrested is Parvez, a helper at an automobile garage. On January 5 morning, the victim was standing in front of her house, when Parvez, who was walking by, made obscene gestures and flashed at her. The victim raised an alarm. As passersby gathered, Parvez took to his heels.

The victim approached the Sadashivanagar police station and registered a complaint. Based on the description given by the victim and a few local people, police picked up Parvez, who confessed to his crime. Police sources suspect Parvez is mentally unsound, but it has to be confirmed through a medical examination. He was arrested and remanded in judicial custody, said the police.
