Bengaluru: State BJP President Pralhad Joshi has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would address a farmers’ convention in Belagavi on February 27.

The event aimed at creating awareness about the Prime Minister’s Fasal Bima Yojana (crop insurance scheme) will be held tentatively at 4 pm, said Joshi.

Congress leader Janardhana Poojary’s statement on ‘dead wood’ in the Cabinet reflected the condition of the party, he said. If unfit members of the Cabinet have to be dropped, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah also has to quit, Joshi added.
