Bengaluru: A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in the Karnataka High Court seeking intervention between government and police personnel, who are planning for mass leave agitation on June 4.

Senior advocate Amruthesh on Thursday filed the petition and sought immediate intervention in order to prevent the possible anarchistic situation on June 4.

The role of police in keeping law and order is crucial and moreover the personnel hold no constitutional right to protest, the requisition read.
