Bengaluru: The photoshopped images of Actor-turned-politician Ramya have gone viral on social media.

Black and white reworked images are flooding on social media sites. The actor is in the midst of Mahatma Gandhi and other freedom fighters in the images.

Ramya, who is facing a private complaint on sedition charge for her “pro-Pakistan” remarks, had questioned the role of BJP and RSS in the country’s freedom struggle.

Ramya, after attending a SAARC Young Parliamentarians Conference in Pakistan, made comments in support of Pakistan. That led to a huge controversy. People in Karnataka, miffed with her comments staged protests.

The 33-year-old multilingual actress’ comments had triggered a bitter backlash but she stood her ground saying that she would not apologise for her position.
