Bengaluru: A garment factory worker committed suicide on Monday allegedly over police harassment.

The deceased have been identified as Umesh(30), a native of Hongasandra.

It is alleged that Umesh committed suicide due to police harassment especially after PF agitation, while he was taken into custody.

Police kept visiting his house thereafter and harassed him over trivial issues projecting him as a culprit of some unruly incident happened in Bommanahalli police limits.
