
Bengaluru: “I urge my fellow Bengalureans to follow the lockdown guidelines from Monday more strictly,” urged Bengaluru police commissioner Kamal Pant on Sunday May 9, ahead of the fortnight long lockdown like restrictions starting from May 10 in Karnataka.
He tweeted that it is important to work together and warned that stringent action would be taken against those who violate the guidelines.
As epicentre of the pandemic in the state, Bengaluru reported 21,534 fresh cases on Friday, taking its Covid tally to 9,29,996, including 3,44,754 active cases, while 5,77,465 recovered, with 18,473 patients discharged in the day.
