Bengaluru: As the confusions within the Karnataka Congress continues over the appointment of the next KPCC president, former deputy chief minister Dr G Parameshwar has said that the party has unanimously made an appeal to the high command.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, he said, “The Karnataka Congress has unanimously made an appeal to the high command as well as CLP leader in the state, over the selection of KPCC president and opposition leaders. It is for the party to take a final call. We have held a meeting today to showcase our unity and that there was no confusion within the party.”
Meanwhile, he informed that there was no personal discussion with the party leaders on who should become the next KPCC president.
