Parents’ Assn Committee demands refund of II PUC exam fees

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Private Schools Parents’ Association Co-ordination Committee has made a demand to refund the examination fees collected for the second-year pre-university college examinations as it remains cancelled now.

The committee informed that the Director of PU Board has already been contacted regarding the issue. The committee further stated that the State Government has collected more than Rs 11 crore in fees from the 6 lakh students and no announcement concerning refund of fees has been made yet despite cancelling examinations.

The students of PU colleges across the State have already paid Rs 190 and Rs 50 examination as fees for general and SC/ST students, respectively.
