Bengaluru: In a big relief to the home department, 84 police personnel who entered the Covid 19 red zone Padarayanapura to control the riot tested negative for the Covid 19.

But blood test reports of another 148 police personnel are awaited.

According to the authorities, a total of 232 police personnel had entered the Padarayanapura red zone to control the riot.

These police personnel had arrested over 170 persons who were involved in the riot.

As two of the arrested tested positive, 32 police personnel were sent for self quarantine. All the police personnel were subjected to Covid 19 tests.

Now the test results have come as a big relief for the police force.

It can be recalled that CoP Bhaskara Rao and other senior officials also under went such a test two days ago and tested negative.
