Bengaluru: On Sunday December 12, Karnataka has reported its third Covid-19 case with the Omicron variant after a 34-year-old South African returnee tested positive.

The number of Omicron cases in India has now reached 36.

Karnataka Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar said that, “He is being treated at a government hospital and is being kept in isolation. The samples of 5 primary and 15 secondary contacts have been sent for testing.”
