Bengaluru: In a shocking revelation, Primary and Secondary Education Minister B. C. Nagesh alleged that not only for Hijab but there is also a demand put forth for five times namaz in the schools.

“A few students are demanding time for five-time namaz. They are saying that religion is more important than education. So, there is no question of budging under any pressure,” he said.

“It started only in a few colleges. Now it has spread over many districts. A few politicians poured ghee to the fire. There is a suspicion of involvement of PFI in this. I have requested the Home Minister to order for an inquiry,” he added.
