Ramanagara: Congress party has labeled BJP as communal in order to get votes of a few communities, said Anita Kumaraswamy, JDS candidate contesting from Bangalore rural Lok Sabha constituency. Meanwhile, in reality none of the political parties including BJP are communal, said Anita.

Addressing the media persons, after campaigning in Hejjala, SVT Colony, Muniyappanagudipalya, Kendappanahalli, Ganakal, Avaragere, Bannikuppe villages that comes under the limits of Bidadi hobli, Anita alleged that Congress is involved in cheap politics by labeling BJP as communal, alleged Anita.
“Do not listen to propaganda of Congress,” appealed Anita to the voters. Anita denied pact between JDS and BJP. She urged Congress leaders who are always criticizing Deve Gowdas family, to clarify what is going on between UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and D K Shivakumar, questioned Anita.
“I am contesting in the bypoll that was arisen because of my husband Kumaraswamy resigned as MP, Ramanagar has been awarded the status of district by the former CM Kumaraswamy, besides Deve Gowda family has contributed immensely for the development of this district. The voters have indeed given political rebirth to both Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy in the past. Since the voters have longstanding relations between Deve Gowda family, JDS will surely win the bypolls,’ said Anita.
