Bengaluru: Taking a dig at Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, former CM and BJP leader DV Sadananda Gowda has said that power is not permanent and hence the ones who resort to politics of vengeance will learn an apt lesson.
Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, he said that so far there has been no instance of a chief minister abusing power to this extent as Siddaramaiah did. “Even political gains and interests have limits,” he said adding that during his long political journey, Siddaramaiah has only used the power that came his way to crush his opponents.
With regard to the problem looming over BJP Chief B S Yeddyurappa, DVS said that Siddaramaiah has been misusing the ACB, SIT, CID and other investigating bodies and has been pressurising the ACB to register cases against Yeddyurappa.
“It is shameful that Siddaramaiah is resorting to such means to settle scores,” he said.
