Bengaluru: Former Education Minister K. B. Chandrasekhar alleged that there is no documents to prove that RSS Founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar was a freedom fighter.

“There are no documents to prove that RSS was involved in the country’s freedom movement,” he said. “Hedgewar was against the tricolor also. He had warned against using tricolor in the national flag. In such a scenario, why was his write-up included in the textbooks,” he questioned.

He also added that the safronisation process has already been implemented in the CBSE textbooks. “1,334 lessons in CBSE textbooks changed according to the RSS ideology. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is responsible for this,” he said.
