Bengaluru: Senior Congress leader Mallikharjun Kharge has stated that there is no question of retiring from politics. “I am a born fighter. I will keep on fighting,” he stated.

Speaking to the reporters in Kalaburugi, he stated that a lot of people are saying that the upcoming Lok Sabha election is my last election. “That is false. I will not retire from politics. I am a born fighter and will continue in the politics for a few more years,” he stated.

On the question why Prime Minister Narendra Modi didn’t criticise him at his March 6 rally at Kalaburugi, he stated that Modi has nothing to criticise against him. “I was expecting a slew of projects for Kalaburugi, but Modi disappointed me. He can talk only about the developmental works undertaken by me in the constituency,” he stated.

He also stated that the Congress-JDS alliance will sweep the upcoming general election and the BJP will be in the distant third place.
