Bengaluru: KPCC interim president Dinesh Gundurao, who tendered resignation for the KPCC president’s post in December 2019, following party’s poor performance in the state assembly by-election stated that he has no desire to continue in the post. “All possibilities are ruled out. I will not continue on the KPCC president post. It is a closed chapter,” he stated.

Dinesh Gundurao, who recently met party high command in New Delhi informed that his meeting with Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are part of the party’s consultation process to select a good replacement for him.

He also stated that the new KPCC president shall be named at the earliest to ensure that the party will be in an aggressive mode to check the communal forces.

He also alleged that BSY government is now run by a kitchen cabinet. “Except commission collection, no other works are getting done,” he charged.

He also stated that Nirmala Sitharama should resign as she is a big failure as a finance minister.
