Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa made it clear that there is no question of another lockdown in the state.

“The finance of the state is not in a good position. If we announce another lockdown, it will affect the state more. Instead, efforts will be done to create awareness among people on the COVID 19 containment,” he said.

“I am fully aware of the fact that Covidd 19 is exploding in the state in the last ten days. However, lockdown is not the solution at this stage. I am holding a meeting with all party leaders on the measures to be followed to contain the spread of the COVID 19,” he said.

The CM is meeting all the MLAs of the city today to discuss the future strategy with more and more cases are getting reported from the various places of the city.
