Bangalore : Laborers, dalits and women section will not see development under the Modi government, said human rights activist Teesta Setalvad. To develop these sections we must organise ourselves into movements, she said at a meeting organised by Karnataka Komu Sauhardha Vedike at Indian social institute in Bensontown.

Modi is trying to amend labour laws. This move will not bring changes in their life instead they will be pushed into further problems.

Modi is not the agent only of RSS but he should become the agent of all the sections. So  we all should fight for Laborers rights.

PM Narendra Modi is destroying democratic system by showing Gujarat model. Gujarat is not developed, and to prove it, my report done by collecting information under the  RTI act is the evidence for the same. Modi has not discussed any issues on rural development, Lokayukta or removal of corruption. Instead he has encouraged communalism said Gautham Takkar State president of Ahmadabad PUCL.

Freedom fighter H S Doreswamy on the occasion said that Modi government is trying to weaken the democratic system. We should not allow those who divide the society.

Senior activist A K Subbayya said that we do not want to see power being handed over from to one political party to another. We want freedom as all the sections in the society enjoy it.
