Bengaluru: Amid a growing chorus to ban the SDPI and PFI on the backdrop of the DJ Halli and KG Halli violence, state law minister JC Madhuswamy made it clear that till now no decision taken on the banning of these two organizations.
“I am telling you as a law minister. Till we get concrete proof of involvement of these two organizations in the violence, it is difficult to ban them,” he said.
“We have suspicion about these two organizations. We will discuss this with the investigating officers. At the government level till now no discussion happened on banning these two organizations,” he said.
He also made it clear that RDPR minister KS Eshwarappa’s statements on banning the SDPI and PFI in the state are personal.
