Bengaluru: National Investigation Agency (NIA) which is investigating the August 11 KG Halli and DJ Halli violence recorded the statements of Congress MLA Zameer Ahmed Khan and MLC Rizwan Arshad.

According to the source, both the leaders appeared for statement recording on September 13 itself.

NIA officials asked them to arrive at agency office in Domlur via telephone.

According to the sources, both the leaders informed the officials that they tried their best to maintain peace. But the situation became worse.

Both leaders informed that they shared information what they have with NIA. Authorities requested them to extend cooperation in the investigation.
