Bengaluru: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) took an individual into custody for questioning regarding the Rameshwaram Cafe blast incident in Bengaluru. The individual, identified as Shabbir and hailing from the Cowl Bazaar area in Ballari, is under suspicion due to recent travel activities.

Last week, the NIA released updated images of a prime suspect related to the blast, urging the public to aid in identifying the person potentially associated with the explosion at Rameshwaram cafe.

“NIA appeals for public assistance in identifying the individual linked to the Rameswaram Cafe Blast Case. Please contact 08029510900, 8904241100 or email [email protected] with any pertinent information. Your anonymity will be respected,” stated the NIA in a social media post, accompanied by a photograph of the suspect wearing a pink T-shirt and blue jeans.

Previously, the primary suspect was observed traveling on a bus without a cap and mask. Prior to that sighting, the suspect was seen donning a baseball cap, which was later discovered near a mosque by the investigative agency.
