Bengaluru: The southern bench of the National Green Tribunal (NGT) heard the matter of the proposed steel flyover in the city on Wednesday, with the counsels appearing for the State government, L&T, and the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) making submissions opposing the application filed by the Citizens’ Action Forum and others.

“Detailed submissions by way of rejoinder were submitted on behalf of the Citizens’ Action Forum, rebutting each and every submission made by the Bengaluru Development Authority, State of Karnataka and L&T. The matter now stands reserved for pronouncement of judgment. Liberty is granted to the parties to file written submissions within a week. No date of next hearing is given yet,” said a member of the Citizens’ Action Forum.
