Bengaluru: On Friday night at Jalahalli metro station, the Namma Metro train service was stalled for a few minutes to save a cat which was roaming freely on the metro tracks. However, attempts to capture the cat were unsuccessful and the metro services were resumed.

It all started at 7.30 pm on Friday, when a white cat was found on the metro tracks near the Jalahalli station. The commuters, who saw the cat roaming on the tracks, informed the security guards, who brought the issue to the notice of the senior officers. Fearing that the cat might get electrocuted, the senior offices directed the security guards to search for the cat. They decided to halt the movement of the trains while they looked for the cat.

Even though the cat was located during the search operation, the security guards were not able to bring it out as it was running away.

Finally, the guards gave up trying to bring it out of the metro lines and services were resumed at 7.45 pm.
