Bengaluru: Actor-turned-politician Prakash Rai and Mysuru MP Pratap Simha came to a compromise regarding the Rs 1 defamation case.

Rai had filed a 1 rupee defamation case against Simha for dragging his private issues into his discussions during the peak of the #JustAsking movement, with the special court for elected representatives in Bengaluru.

On Thursday, both the leaders agreed to a compromise regarding the issue, hugged each other and consented for the closure of the case.

Judge Ramachandra D Huddara informed both the leaders to concentrate on flood relief works instead of trivial issues.
