Bengaluru: Calling what has so far been revealed from MLC Govindaraju’s diary as mere ‘tip of the iceberg’, BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa has said that more trouble and embarrassment awaits CM Siddaramaiah ahead when more details tumble out of the diary.
The contents of the diary purportedly provide details of payoffs by state Congress members to their national leaders and soon after the media brought out some highlights of the diary, the CM remained elusive for about three days.
“More details will be out and then the CM will not be in a position to venture out of his house at all out of shame,” said BSY to reporters.
Yeddyurappa reiterated his charge that Siddaramaiah and his family received Rs 65-crore kickbacks for sanctioning the controversial steel flyover in Bengaluru. He said that a probe will expose the truth.
