Bengaluru: KPCC president DK Shivakumar and Youth Congress national president BV Shrinivas are able to resolve the leadership crisis in the Congress youth wing state unit. As per the compromise formula, Raksha Ramaiah will continue as the president till December 31, 2021. From January 1, 2022, Nalapad will take over the reins.

As per the formula, Nalapad will be accommodated in the Youth Congress national committee. Raksha Ramaiah will replace him later.

Nalapad is the son of Shantinagar MLA NA Haris.

It can be recalled that Nalapad had secured a highest vote in Youth Congress president election held in February 2021. However, Raksha Ramaiah was selected by the AICC without citing any reason.

On Congress Party website the confirmation is yet to be made. There is a internal issue going on between Raksha Ramaiah and Nalapad’s supporters.
