Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a woman bus conductor was attacked with acid on Thursday, December 19. The act was carried out by two unidentified bike-borne miscreants, the Bengaluru police informed.

The victim has been identified 35-year-old Indira Bai, a native of the Tumakuru district. She is being treated at a private hospital in the city.

Indira in a bus conductor employed with the state-run Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC).

Chairman of the BMTC paid her a visit at the hospital.

A case has been registered in the Bagalgunte police station in connection with the incident.
