Bengaluru: Miscreants pelting stones on the moving trains between Srirampura and Bengaluru city railway station is a common occurrence and several passengers sustain injuries as a result. But for the first time, miscreants targetted a moving Namma Metro near the Srirampura station.

According to BMRCL sources, on Saturday night, three coaches of the Namma Metro were damaged in the incident.

“Earlier, they would pelt stones on the railway tracks now the miscreants have targetted the Namma Metro coaches. Three coaches damaged,” informed BMRCL sources.

BMRCL authorities are likely to lodge a complaint with the Malleshwaram police seeking their help to trace the culprits.
