Bangalore: BJP national spokesperson Nirmala Sitaram condemned the statement of PM Dr Manmohan Singh that BJP led Karnataka state government has been anti-minority community during the latters visit to the state in order to address the Congress campaign for the upcoming election.
Addressing the media persons during a press meet here on Tuesday April 30, Nirmala criticized PM Dr Singh for his alleged comment that BJP led state government failed in protecting minority community in Karnataka. She reiterated that in fact the situation has arisen wherein minority are living with fear in the states governed by Congress, reiterated Nirmala.
Let the PM Dr Singh know that its after BJP came into power in Karnataka, not even a single communal flare up has been reported. The people of different faith are living in harmony, said Nirmala.
Whether PM Dr Singh is not aware of the atrocities on women, rape incidences that had taken place in the national capital? The violence has skyrocketed in Samajwadi led Uttar Pradesh. In spite of nearly 35 incidents were reported no FIR are being registered. Why PM Dr Singh is not bothered over the above issues, instead hurling allegations on BJP led Karnataka state government, said Nirmala.
