Bengaluru: Before the finalizing of reshuffling of State Cabinet, voices of dissent have been raised from various departments. Some of them have threatened to resign from the party if their post is not continued.

Primary and Secondary Education Minister Kimmane Ratnakar stood first to comment on the reshuffling of Cabinet.
“I am not a ‘power-hungry’ politician. Some have called me arrogant and some have criticized me as ‘white-collar’ politician, but I have fulfilled the responsibilities of my ministry efficiently,” he said in a Facebook post.
Revenue Minister V?Srinivas Prasad said that the Chief Minister has failed to review the performance of the ministers and also said that he is not bothered about the ministerial position. People of his constituency are well aware of his efficiency.
“The CM hasn’t taken into account things like corruption and other allegations. He should have analysed the efficiency and performance of ministers before taking any decision,” he added.
Senior MLA Malak Reddy from Yadagiri has threatened to resign from the Congress party itself. “My followers are pressurizing me to resign as MLA and leave Congress. After discussing with them I will take the final decision,” he said.
He further said that it is hard to expect clean and efficient administration as senior and efficient leaders were being neglected.
Another Congress leader Mayakonda MLA, Shivamurthy Naik said that Congress had ignored its loyal party workers and efficient administrators. He urged the high command to halt the reshuffling of cabinet asking reason for ignoring him in the list.
