Bangalore :UT Khader the Minister of Health and family welfare carried out surprise raid on the shops that sell gutka despite of the Ban.Later he instructed all distict-level health officials in the state to take action against all offenders.

Prior to that he launched a campaign to create awareness in ill-effects of tobacco and smoking at the office of the city police commissioner on Saturday.

After the raid khader ensured that all such displays were removed on the spot and got pasted fresh posters depicting ill-effects of tobacco and smoking.He added that similar drives against the sale of tobacco products would be carried out in all districts.
