Bengaluru: The war of words between Minister for Medical Education Dr K Sudhakar and former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy took a new turn with the former demanding the latter to prove his allegatios or quit politics.
It all started with HDK making a serious allegation that Congress-JD(S) coaltion government was toppled by the turncoat MLAs using the money earned from drug and betting kingpins.
The former, specifically made a reference to Dr Sudhakar, a turncoat MLA and said that the Minister too knows about it all.
Responding to this allegation, Dr Sudhakar said that if the BJP government has come to power because of its unholy nexus with the drug and the betting mafia, then it should not remain in power.
“Now, the former CM must put out evidences for this claim. If he does prove it then I will resign from the post, but if he cannot prove these serious allegation, then he should opt for political retirement,” he said.
