Bengaluru: Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers DV Sadananda Gowda, who was hospitalised recently after he collapsed from low blood sugar, was discharged on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters after being discharged from Aster CMI Hospital in Bengaluru, Minister Gowda said that he has been advised to rest for a day or two after which he will get involved with the budget process.

He also thanked the doctors and other health staff who took care of him and his friends who wished him well.
Hours before he was discharged, Gowda was visited Minister of Large & Medium Scale Industries Jagadish Shettar and other leaders.

It can be recalled that minister Sadananda Gowda was admitted to Aster CMI Hospital after he collapsed due to low blood sugar on Sunday in Chitradurga.
He was in Shivamogga to attend the BJP’s core committee meeting on Saturday night and while on the way to Bengaluru, halted in Chitradurga for lunch at a restaurant. He collapsed after greeting party workers.
