
Bengaluru: Major irrigation minister Ramesh Jarkiholi and newly nominated MLC CP Yogeshwar met party national president JP Nadda in New Delhi on Monday evening.
According to the BJP sources, Ramesh Jarakiholi is in New Delhi to lobby for the DCM post while CP Yogeshwar who was nominated to the state legislative council recently is eyeing a cabinet berth.
According to the BJP sources, BJP leadership had assured Ramesh Jarakiholi of the post of DCM at the time of government formation. Ramesh is a disappointed lot now as he yet to get this post though it is largely ornamental in nature.
However via a press release, Ramesh Jarakiholi stated that he is in New Delhi to get permission for various long pending irrigation projects of the state and discuss better management of water available in the major rivers of the state.
