Minister B Sreeramulu wants compensation to be given to Mangaluru firing victims

Bengaluru: In a big surprise, which sent shock waves in the BJP state unit, health minister B Sreeramulu urged the state government to give Rs.10 lakh compensation to the victims of Mangaluru police firing.

Speaking to media in Raichur, he said, “Let CM BS Yediyurappa order for judicial investigation. The truth may come out in the judicial investigation. The families of the deceased persons shall be given compensation.”

Ramulu, who is upset with the party central leadership for denying him the DCM post declined to comment on the issue.
