Bengaluru: Minister Sunil Kumar has issued notice to Namma Metro for neglecting the Kannada language during the inaugural function of the extended Bengaluru Metro line between Mysore Road and Kengeri.

The minister alleged that the BMRCL officials have neglected state language by putting banners in English.

“Using Kannada on signboards is a must, any act of insulting our own language will not be forgiven,” minister warned.

Sunil Kumar also ordered the concerned officials to take strict action against those involved in this.
