Bengaluru: An artist turned a huge pot hole in the road into a crocodile pond after the civic authorities in Bengaluru failed to fix the road following several complaints.
Fed up with the circumstances and with an idea to catch the officials attention, Baadal Nanjundaswamy , a 36-year-old visual artiste expressed his ire over the lethargic approach of the civic authorities in Bengaluru by placing a life sized artificial crocodile in the 12-feet-long pot hole on the Sulthanpalya Main Road in north Bengaluru.

“Authorities showed no response in spite of continuous complaints to BBMP and BWSSB by the locals. I hope they will take action now”, the artiste said.
He created the fiber alligator at his personal expense of Rs.6000 over a week’s time. The former visualiser has previously used his art for expressing his anger over the irresponsible acts of civic authorities. Earlier the artist created fiber hands and placed them near a pot hole in front of Mysuru palace.
