Bengaluru: Several organizations including the opposition parties’ workers on Saturday took onto the streets demanding the resignation of Cabinet minister KJ George, who was held responsible by DySP Ganapathy in his death note for his suicide.

JD(S)’ youth wing, Akhila Bharathiya Vidhyathri Parishath (ABVP), Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) and other prominent organizations staged protest march in different parts of the city, especially at Anandrao Circle, Freedom Park, Malleshwaram and others.
Most of the agitators demanded the State government to drop Minister for Bengaluru Development, KJ George from the Cabinet and take stringent action against the other officials who are named in Ganapathy’s death note.
Some of the organization members burnt effigies of the said minister out of anger.
Meanwhile, the traffic flow across Central Business District (CBD) was thrown out of gear due to mass rallies conducted by several organisations almost simultaneously.
Since it was a Saturday, the traffic flow was above normal in CBD. For the commuters it was almost a nightmarish experience. A few of the commuters expressed their anger.
