Bengaluru: It is not Godse, but Manu who is the first terrorist, as he created the caste system in the country, observed well-known Kannada writer and novelist K Veerabhadrappa.

Speaking at the release of his latest novel “Jai Bhajarangabali” in the city, he stated that all those who call Godse a ‘patriot’ are all the real terrorists.

“Today the values of Tetrayuga is imposed on the people. Those who murdered great persons like Mahatma Gandhi are termed as nationalists and progressive thinkers are called anti-nationals. The first terrorist of this country is Manu, as he created the caste system which is a curse on the country,” he said.

“Today our ministers are behaving as if they have taken a contract to continue superstitious beliefs. The best example for this is H D Revanna’s belief in lemons,” he charged.
