Bengaluru: A 25-years-old Odisha woman employed with a prestigious institute in the city and staying in a Paying Guest in Munekolalu under Marathahalli police limits was attacked by an unknown person, who pumped two bullets into her. 

However, in a major twist, the man attempted suicide hours after shooting at the lady.

While the lady is undergoing treatment, she is said to be out of danger. However, the man, who was found with multiple injuries is battling for life.

Police soures said that a 17-page death note has been recovered from his shirt pocket and the real reason behind the act can be known only after the two recover.

After the shooting episode, the police seized a 7.65 mm country-made revolver used for the attack and also formed two teams to nab the culprit.

The lady was shot at the waist when she was returning to her PG after day’s work, on Tuesday.
