Bengaluru: A 25-year-old man from Bantwal was killed when a BMTC bus ran over him while reversing at Kempegowda Bus Station on Sunday, January 10.

Manjunath Poojari, from Bantwal, Dakshina Kannada is the deceased. Driver of a cement mixer truck, Manjunath was residing at K.S. Layout in the city.

According to sources, Manjunath did not see the bus reversing as he was busy talking on the phone.

The Upparpet traffic police arrested bus driver, Lokesh Kumar.
