Bengaluru: A 32-year-old man was hacked to death near his residence at Shankar Mutt in Mahalakshmi Layout on Sunday.The police have identified the victim as Puneet Nayak, from Magadi town and maintaining a small gas cylinder agency in the city. The police said the victim was on the way to his residence when he was confronted by armed assailants.

The police are investigating possible business deals or connections that might have led to the murder.
