Bengaluru: On Monday October 4, a 65-year-old man died when his scooter hit a fallen tree on the road, which had uprooted due to heavy rain, in Jayanagar.

As per reports, he had fallen off his scooter after hitting the tree and had suffered severe injuries.

The incident is said to have occurred around 4.30 am when the deceased, who is a hotelier, was heading to his restaurant.

On Sunday October 3, the City reported heavy rains leading to waterlogging in many parts.
